On-Site Wedding Package

That special day. . . your wedding.   The grand live oaks and manicured lawns of the historic Salmen-Fritchie House in Olde Towne Slidell set the stage for the wedding of your dreams.

Delectable food and courteous black-tie service add an elegant touch to bridal showers, luncheons, rehearsal dinners and of course, weddings and receptions.

Built in 1895 by Slidell founder Fritz Salmen, the mansion once hosted the “wedding of the century” uniting Fritz’s daughter, Ellarose Salmen, with Colonel W.H. Sullivan.  The wedding, attended by more than 4,000 guests, garnered national media attention.  The house has since been restored to its historical grandeur.  It consists of nine main rooms full of antique furniture and a wonderful front porch that’s the perfect accessory for bridal photographs.

No matter what the size of the party, Patton’s is equipped to handle anything. Smaller events can be held in an intimate setting within one room, or all rooms can be open for larger events. There are ample restrooms throughout, and a lift is available to assist disabled guests.

Buffet Option Policy

Our Buffet option can be chosen for events expecting a minimum of 50 guests, with partial seating provided, depending on the number of guests. Serving staff is included.

DEPOSIT FEE

There is a non-refundable $800.00 deposit fee required to reserve the date and the facility:                                      

DAMAGE DEPOSIT

A refundable damage deposit of $400.00 is required and will be returned within seven days following your event providing assessment of the facility reveals no damage.

An additional 4% processing charge is added with all credit card payments.

WEDDING CEREMONY

You may host your wedding ceremony on site for an additional $500.00. This fee includes two additional hours of access time (60 minutes for bridal party dressing, 30 minutes for the ceremony and 30 minutes for an optional rehearsal). The ceremony can be hosted indoors or outdoors.

SERVICE EQUIPMENT

China, flatware, glassware, serving chafers, and all other serving equipment are included in the facility rental fee.  Plastic tableware is available upon request.

Tables, Chairs & Linens

Tables and banquet chairs are included in the rental fee. We can assist you in renting select tables or chairs of your preference or additional tables or chairs as needed. White linens are included on all seating, buffet, cake and gift tables. Skirting is added to the buffet, cake and gift tables. We can also assist you with ordering specialty linens or chair covers.

Décor

The décor throughout the house is included in the rental fee. We can assist you with arranging other décor at an additional cost.

Staff

Uniformed service staff is provided. The number of guests and the type of service you request determines the number of staff members.

Event Coordinator & Attendant

An event coordinator is included on your event day to ensure the vendors and staff are satisfying your event requirements. A personal Bridal Attendant is also provided for the bride and groom.

Music & Dance Floor

We can provide pricing for our house band or disc jockey.  If you prefer another type of entertainment (such as jazz quartets, string ensembles, harpists, etc.), we can assist you with these arrangements.

Parking

Parking is available in front of the house on Cleveland Avenue and in our parking lot, accessed from William Tell Street on the side of the house. Parking is also allowed on the surrounding streets.

Photography Session

A photography session with your photographer is included in the rental fee of the facility. This session can take place during the access time on the day of your event, or it can occur on a date preceding or following your event date. Please schedule an appointment time for your session.


The following additional services are included with the Buffet Menu Option:

Sampler Boxes of Food
A honeymoon sampler of food is included for the bride and groom, including a bottle of champagne.

Ceremony Rehearsal
An optional half hour rehearsal is included with the Ceremony Fee.  This time must be   scheduled according to Patton’s availability.

PRICING

The following pricing includes menu, staff, linen and unlimited beverage service of our House Brand Liquors, beer, wine and champagne for the three hours of your event:

Evening Events: $58.00 per person (inclusive)
Day Events: $55.00 per person (inclusive)

If you prefer to only serve non-alcoholic beverages (Punch, coffee, water, and soft drinks), then the pricing is as follows:


Evening Events:  $54.00 per person (inclusive)
Day Events:  $51.00 per person (inclusive)
