For more than 50 years, the Patton Family has been delivering the taste of New Orleans to satisfied guests across the country. Now, they've expanded their catering business to offer a beautiful venue for events to locals and visitors alike.

Patton's Catering Service began in 1954 with Oliver and Shirley Patton creating hors d'oeuvres in the butcher department of their grocery store, located in the 9th Ward of New Orleans. The catering and grocery endeavors worked harmoniously for a few prosperous years, until finally the catering department took over. Oliver and Shirley closed the grocery store and sold the building in order to dedicate all their efforts to their flourishing catering business.

Today, Oliver and Shirley's legacy continues with their children (and their children's children). In the capable hands of Gail, Pat, Tommy, Timmy and Terry, the company has become one of the top independent caterers in the New Orleans area. This is no small feat when considering the tough competition in a city that revolves around food. But hard work, delicious dishes and a dedicated staff combine to create excellent events.

In 2002 the Patton children purchased the historic Salmen-Fritchie House in Olde Towne Slidell. This quaint southern plantation is the perfect place to host your special event.
